Taco Bites!
This is what I cook… for my fantasy football draft every year! Who is ready for some football!?!?
My fantasy football league guys ask me to make these every year for our draft. My mom’s original recipe called them “Wonton Appetizers” but my FFL guys renamed them “Taco Bites!”
Wonton cups: Press raw wonton wrappers into a muffin tin and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown. Remove from pan and arrange on a cookie sheet.
Filling: Brown 2 lbs of hamburger, 1 pkg Jimmy Dean Hot (bulk) sausage and 1 cup chopped onion. Drain and let cool. Add 1/2 cup chopped red pepper, 1/2 cup chopped green pepper, 1 can chopped black olives, 1 - 16 oz. container of sour cream, 1 pkg taco seasoning, 1 pkg Ranch dressing seasoning, and 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
Scoop filling into wonton cups. Top with one sliced jalapeño pepper. (You can leave this out of you don’t like spicy.)
When ready to serve, bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
